I've owned this mat since it first came out locally in Boston, MA. I wanted something that was environmentally friendly and could LAST. Divide the cost over 4+ years and it's more affordable than the cheap rubber crap. I have been waiting to see this mat's life and it is still going strong after four years. Oh, and I teach yoga 4x/wk on top of taking hot yoga classes myself 2-4x/week as well. I have used this mat for gentle yoga, power yoga, hot yoga, mat Pilates and even used during a wellness retreat I lead at Harvard. Everyone asks about this mat and it's layers and how it holds up. I have washed this mat countless times and air dry and it is holding up so well. The tassels at the end are the only part that's getting a little bunched up but who cares, it's been four years. The only thing I notice is that it is slick if you are doing hot yoga or any power moves, so grip socks help or I add a grip towel on top because of the power transitions, I am doing. SO many people love the look, feel and purpose of this mat. R-Yolo fan for life, thank you!

The yoga mat is beautiful, unique, sees daily use - and the embroidered Owl spirit animal leading the way, so to speak, never fails to make me smile. Love that it’s washable! Wish I could afford one in every available color.
I had the opportunity to use my
R-YOLO mat on my recent trip to Poland where I practiced yoga, breath-work and meditation with Wim Hof during a winter expedition. It so enhanced my practice, was easy to travel with, super comfortable. It was the talk of many during this global event. I use the R-YOLO mat daily in my practice and am so happy with it.
